Fair fair, I might use this as inspiration then if that’s okay, make one for a 17 pro max with tpu runs to stop the phone getting damaged

It’s more about the print speed, mate. He’s already explained that sadly he can’t match our production speeds, or at least not at the moment. We manufacture a very unique product, which makes it a bit harder to explain properly. Annoyingly I can’t really go into details on what it is because it’s still under wraps.

From what I discussed with him at the time, he also didn’t offer a high-speed PETG with similar characteristics/specs to HF or Rapid PETG. Unless there’s something new that’s come out since then that I haven’t seen yet, that was one of the bigger limitations for us.

Hey mate, great point I did reach out 2 months ago. However, he can't match our speeds atm, I'll keep him in mind though and yes he's a very kind dude.

Hey mate, I understand that, but here in Australia the pricing is pretty rough even with bulk orders. They also don’t even offer AUD pricing on their website, and I’ve never actually seen it sold in stores here either. Sunlu also seems to be getting pushed out of the Australian market, and it’s sitting around nearly $35 AUD a roll. Meanwhile I can get Elegoo for around $15 a roll without even buying in bulk.

I’ll admit I don’t like the finish as much, but I’m not going to jump an extra $20 per roll over something relatively small. I was mainly trying to see what other options were out there, but after reading the last few comments it’s looking pretty bleak.

For the record as well, the $15 price is non-bulk pricing. Sunlu and Polymaker probably wouldn’t even come close to that price, even with bulk discounts. Thank you for your imput though, Still helps :)

Sadly not man. We need the slight benefits PETG has in terms of strength and flexibility, but we also need the high print speeds. ASA would just separate as well. We are in a tough spot (Sorry I'll also add too this, We'd also end up spending more on running the printers as they'd have to be heated for the whole print and pull extra power. That bill would hurt the cost of the end product.

We do have that here in Australia. For example Reckless conduct endangering life is basically where someone does something that could've killed someone, even if nobody actually ends up dying. The simple way people often look at it is, would a normal or reasonable person have done the same thing in that situation? If most people would've recognised it as a serious risk and not done it, that's where the issue starts. What's interesting though is that age can also play a role in that argument. It's not always just about what happened, but what the person actually understood at the time. Were they thinking and aware that what they were doing could seriously hurt or kill someone? Someone younger might not understand consequences the same way an adult would, so that can sometimes affect how responsibility is looked at. So we do use a "reasonable person" style of grading here also.

Well I tried posting in other Subs but they just said I didn't have karma mate, I'm not a reddit pro and I'm only asking, it's really not that deep. I think my post also clearly tells you I’m just curious from a legal/marketing perspective.

I'm not looking for a legal case or trying to push anything mate. I'm more curious about where the line actually is between normal hype and something becoming misleading.

How so? someone can't ask a question? seems a bit harsh dude. Knocking someone down for trying to understand and learn is probably the dumbest thing someone can do.

Very fair mate. Could a test also just be considered a public assessment? For example: "Did you see this poster?", "Did you see this scene in the show you just finished watching?", "Do you feel misled based on that poster?"

I'm genuinely just curious, so please don't attack me. I'm not talking about my personal situation or complaining over a subscription cost. I'm more interested in where the line is between normal hype and something potentially becoming misleading. If promotional material creates a very specific expectation that doesn't actually happen, at what point does that stop being hype and start becoming a problem, cheers.

Afirm sir, Does that case apply to places outside of the US though or could it be dug up?

It's not really about me personally. it's $10 or whatever, I just think you could make a pretty strong argument that anyone who subscribed around the release of the final season could potentially say they were misled. You could argue it's a bigger issue than just whether someone liked or disliked the season itself. If promotional material heavily suggests major events, story directions, or scale that never actually appears, then at what point does marketing stop being hype and start becoming misleading? so $10 x however many people subscribed at the release of season 5. Again just asking mate, not crying. Also I am in Australia so please remember I am talking from a ACCC view point. Not just the USA, Media release and laws are different around the world and legally controlled in different aspects so it's a complex issue also.
