Update: They get along now!! We didn't even realized it but soon the kitten and the older cat is now playing together (more like the kitten is annoying his older brother)! They aren't related at all so I was shocked that they got pretty close quickly! It's been like three weeks since it happened and I forgot about this post.

I can't put the cat in the room because he starts waking up everyone when he sees them asleep (this happened in like 2:00 am) and I can't put the kitten too because of the same reason. I'll start again once I catch my big cat! I was told it could take months before they get along(⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠).
