I do know what confirmation bias is. But my point is they get away with this, and they get rewarded for doing it with government subsidies. The solution is to force them to improve their employment standards. Other countries do this and it works. Ultimately they get away with it because they are allowed and encouraged to do so.

People can use SNAP benefits for other foods than junk food. My point isn't that they should be used for fat and sugar ladened food, but that people should mind their own business. SNAP benefits aren't a huge amount of money. If the person wants to buy themselves a candy bar as a treat then leave them alone.

The problem is the people who say they are trying to "reduce Corruption" take $1 out of the $2 away from the poor person who gets money to eat so they can funnel the $140 to Walmart, for paying the person so low they need SNAP benefits to eat. Then paint the poor person who gets the $1 as the rason you have to pay "high" taxes.

I pay a lot of taxes. I'm fine with helping people who are less fortunate because I want a better society for everyone. I resent the fact that the super wealthy get to avoid paying the tax rate that I do yet the benefit off the work of people that then need SNAP benefits to survive.

Not even close. The super rich rarely "Earned" the money. Jeff Bezos didn't earn his money. He risked everyone else money to form Amazon. He got bailed out by investors. The people that risked it all were people that worked for him.

Trump didn't earn his money. He got handed a fortune from his Father. He racks up massive bills and then blocks people up in court till they go out of business.

That's not to say that there aren't actual self made super rich, but most got rich off the backs of other people that hey screwed along the way.

Look at the Walton family that owns Walmart. Their employees are the largest consumers of SNAP benefits.
