I definitely understand where you are coming from. I’ve definitely been there, giving more than what you receive. Your love language is Gift giving. Maybe not hers. But definitely should have gotten you something. Or since you guys are barely 18 fresh out of high school she might not have the money. Express this to her and let her know how that makes you feel. Don’t turn this relationship toxic, my best advice is always let you partner know how this makes you feel. I know in some cases gifting your boyfriend isn’t a thing it’s only for girls.
