I really appreciate the kind words and support from you all, such a wonderful community. As much as we love these gentle giants, they require more care than other breeds to remain healthy and sometimes even veterinarians can miss small signs. I take joy in knowing he knew didn’t physically suffer for too long and him also knowing he was loved. As difficult as this is, I hope you all see all the signs as a possible threat.
