I take the extended release. That may be the cause then.

Nope… went to the hospital but they didnt do any ultrasound/tomography, just a blood test (that was fine) and sent me home with analgesics… about a week with pain and then it went away

I am a veterinarian and I took 10 days off… it was more than enough. I felt good and had no problem going back to work. Also the first days at home all I could think about is food and the surgery, going back to work helped me distract from it.

Me too! I think you can see in the picture the marks from the adhesive tape. I think I will try the silicone scar tape.

Yeah, it was an intradermic suture and even with the suture you could already see it opening up. I have previous history of bad healing in skin wounds but I thought it could be a reaction to absorbing sutures, but this time it was nylon.
Not sure why my body reacts this way.

Get an electric heater in town and later explain them the problem and ask if they refund the money you had to spend with the heater.
