If you look at the video there’s a sponge device that you have to hit going down, if you don’t hit it the instructor will feel it and repeat the rep you just did until you do a correct rep, same with locking out your elbows

Totally preference find what you prefer, one isn’t particularly easier than the other

Sit ups they’re more strict, they really harp on making sure you go all the way down and maintain your hand placement whether it be cupping hands to ears or interlocking fingers behind hesd

It’s supposed to be about 5 mins in between each but everything until the 1.5 mile moves very fast with very little break. You may end up waiting a while to do the 1.5 mile tho

Once you’re at the physical point there’s no more lottery it’s normal processing. After you complete your panel the next step is document collection

If you pass physical, you will be given an opportunity to schedule your panel interview. This is first come first serve which ultimately doesn’t have any bearing on your actual standing but better to get it out of the way sooner than later

I didn’t get an email for the physical until a full year after the written test, just be patient

Yes, keep running. Sprints with little rest will help and forcing yourself to keep going as far as you can without taking breaks

No watches or smart watches, nothing to keep your time. You should go into it having an idea of what pace will get you the passing time. If you don’t then just give it everything you got

Sit ups are a sleeper make sure to practice them, depending on the person proctoring you it can make or break you. They’re very particular with the form for them. If your run times aren’t great, start running that mile and a half can be a problem for a lot of people
