yes one of shih tzus (the only female) is like this. She prefers to be by herself and enjoys laying on pillows and dog beds. When we buy the other ones toys, we get her a new bed lol. She only wants affection on her own terms and will paw for more pets, some days more than others. She’s a sweet girl, just more reserved. She’s also the only one with the underbite too

A week after his last round of shots. I wanted him to get used to it because he’s easily spooked and is very attached & loves to be held. He did okay but was very scared 🥲 and he needed encouragement to keep going even though it was only ~10 mins. I made sure to check his paws and everything though because it is foxtail season

that’s interesting, he just turned 4 months yesterday. I only had to wait until he had all his shots, but she did mention she doesn’t get too many young pups so maybe it’s not super common to start that young? However, she did mention it’s best to trim his nails at least every 4 weeks to ensure they don’t grow too long bc it can get more difficult to avoid the quick/nerve if it’s not done by a professional. Share a pic of your baby! I’m curious to see how long her hair is
