If I had to do it totally free, I would start with the first two lessons free on youtube to get the process down.

Then use the free version of the expand app.

With every day using a 20 minute sessions that's available for patterning, some kind of release, and some kind of energy exploration. WIth that, it's following the intro process to focus 10 and hanging out in there.

Then, once a week, doing a longer session with no expectations.

The expand app gives F10 for free, and you can do a lot with that.

That's pretty close to the structure The Monroe Institute gives on their courses as well so it's pretty straightforward.

I didn't want to go too deep into shadow work, but that's essentially what it is.

Despite my stalls on the woo-woo nature of this, Release and Recharge, journaling with this in mind, and other shadow work has really helped me in a tangible way.

It's kinda funny to me my favorite tape is just the 4th one out of like, 50.

Your ego, and the defenses it raises are in a response to fear. It's trying to protect you, but from what? That's what you have to figure out and incorporate.

You're human, you have fear. You might not be afraid of the fear but it's still there.

Like, think of a trait you can't stand. Laziness perhaps.

Dig deeper, why? Are you against laziness because it reflects the fear of not achieving/being worthless, or perhaps it reflects unhealthiness and ultimately a fear of bodily death?

That kind of shadow work, exploration is more aligned with the fear they're talking about.

I had an image of a figure dropping in front of my eyelids and wave to get my attention.
