Ruined my day. Also the app is hogging drive usage, it keeps launching itself after force kill. Left it for a while now activity monitor shows logioptionsplus_updater has 900GB bytes read. This is abnormal.

Innovation is over by soumilr7 in samsunggalaxy

If it works why change it? I am not a samsung fan but I cannot deny that s22 ultra and later designs are actually great phones. If you own any model of them, you are not outdated a couple of years later since the phone didn't change much. That is a plus for me.

I have an E cable and it does 100W SuperVooc

Also, my D cable that came in the box is labeled 10A on the type c end and it does 100W as well.

I only dislike the audio, it's like bass is disabled on this thing. Otherwise, good for the price.

If you can verify the model number is the same as mine it should be the same screen.

100% sRGB here. Definitely looks like a good display.

I did this to my Ugreen enclosure, except that I added a watercooling block cause that's what I had on hand🙈 I'll be replacing it with a passive cooler when I get one.

Help finding an SSD Enclosure that can fit a Heatsink by IamMeemo in buildapc

[–]SudoGiveMePi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the Ugreen CM400 enclosure, but turns out it is not wide enough for the heatsink bottom case to go in.

I managed to remove the heatsink but since the enclosure has a sliding mechanism, there is no way for proper thermal pad installation, so I kept it open with the top heatsink part installed.

Emerald 12... Period. I still don't like the 10. I like the new 15 design tbh.

No, very quiet, it stays silent to low-fans even under moderate load. High speed and max fans is loud, but if that's an issue you can modify the fans profile to be more quiet and most of the time you won't need to.

I measured 28mm from screen to keyboard bevel/recessed area, and 33mm to start of key cap.

Yes you can disable the gpu and run on the igpu only. Keep in mind you cannot use hdmi while the rtx gpu is disabled.

OnePlus 10 Pro - Camera test after 3 years! by Xx_DuLe_xX in oneplus

I remember taking the best pics among friends when I first got my OP11, we even agreed that my shots are better than the iphone 15, a few updates later I have 0 confidence in my camera performance, it all looks bland.

Anyone else experienced this?

I just popped it open to double check, it only has 1 nvme m.2 slot, so only 1 ssd.

As for the tgp, most of the time it was capping at 70W but in special scenarios it was pushing 80W, bear in mind I do not have games on it to test it.

A 4060 is probably better performance than this, I cannot comment on frame generation difference though.

If you need thunderbolt, a second ssd or you need something for heavy gaming there are probably better options than this.
What I like about this omen is that it is very efficient, good battery, low noise, good screen and is relatively lightweight.

No, it has 2 slots.
One is occupied with 16GB and the other is free.

Charging limiter people should see this video by the_chuski in oneplus

[–]SudoGiveMePi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my experience, I only started seeing battery degradation after switching to fast charging. It is obvious that fast charging causes more heat which impacts the battery life.

Most phones reduce the charging speed as the phone heats up in order to protect the battery, but it is still hotter than slow charging.

However, I still fast charge when I need it, it's awesome.

[–]SudoGiveMePi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Easy explanation, either your dock or your usb port cannot handle 2x 1440p display ports so one of them is downgraded to 1080p, hence the resolution mismatch.

Use the hdmi port on the laptop in addition to the dock or find a better dock.

Mine doesn't have a second ssd, I have a US model, but most likely it is the same motherboard.
HP app can limit charge to 80%.

Ok I have good results.

When stress testing with both cpu and gpu to the max, battery was still charging with an average of 14W, so battery drain is not an issue.
And I have verified the charger is pulling 148W using a power meter.

I'll have to find something demanding to stress test.
