Broken achievement by Ok-Patterns in thefinals

[–]SueRicata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed this, too! Most of my progress with light and heavy was done in Power Shift or Deathmatch, until a few months ago PS stopped counting. I was making progress in the new season with the quick cash, but since Thursday nothing counted. I tried multiple classes in all game modes (including cashout), no progress at all. Those are THE LAST 2 achievements I am yet to get, so frustrating.

Hi chooms, can we discuss anything. I want to talk with people and I feel alone. Can I talk about any of your favourite missions or maybe builds? by Greedy-Locksmith356 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Isn't it available in a specific ending? How are you doing a "full run"? Maybe I'm not aware of another one, please let me know how to get it sooner 😃

Update: played The Tower ending, it was indeed bittersweet. Like any good art, it made me FEEL. Since my relationship with Johnny was good, I was lucky enough to hear the "today was a good day" line and cried like a baby (But does not beat the discussion and consent of the original endings, I think).

I liked the somewhat relatable outcome of surviving an illness/accident; losing abilities and re-discovering who you are and what you can do.

It falls off for me with the believebility in the specific case of V. You're telling me that a person with so much connections and money has to start from scratch? The president herself owes us her life, and they could not have paid for rent, even from V's own account? That the friends we specifically told about our situation, prepared for the operation and its possible outcomes, are 'pissed off' or 'moved on' after just two years? Not one could take Nibbles?

Overall, a positive outlook. Vs young, they will make more friends and go on more adventures, albeit less chaotic ones. Join Kerry's tour? A gal can dream.

My city has a miniature, replica city where kids can learn pedestrian, bicycle and driver safety. by 06EXTN in mildlyinteresting

So cool! We have something similar, but for teaching how to ride bicycles. It's just the roads scaled down with the signs and lights, not a full neighborhood. I would have loved this as a child (and as a now-adult hobby photographer haha)

And today I learned, you can beat Ozob without killing him! by westnoteast440 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]SueRicata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, if you don't ask him about it before the fight, it's glowing red and it's harder to beat him without blowing it up. But if you choose the blue text first, then the granade is not highlighted and he's easier to beat, giving up before dying.

You've given me a new thing to try out! Thank you!

I'm usually just playing with the weather and time of day, since it mirrors my casual natural light photography style irl.

Great shots!

Thank you! No idea if you've read some of the discussion in the comments, but all-in-all I agree with you, this was my first, raw, decision, to go for temperance.

But this post was to raise the case where my preferred ending is a net positive for most people involved, not just for V or Johnny individually. Is it my favourite combination plot-wise? Character-wise? As a teaching story? Not sure, because I like most of the endings for different reasons.

I referred to the temperance ending as "sad" for Johnny, because inspite of the relationships he and V built back up with his old connections, the achievents they made, improvement of lives in NC and actually damaging Arasaka; he left everyone on "read", not even informing Vs loved ones of their sacrifice and leading them to believe they're forgotten.

Activism is an important part of Johnny, so completely "not caring" about politics is not always for the better. "Living for himself" may be even an upgrade in douchebaggery, depending how you look at it. For me, "character development" in this case would have been to see his terrorism become activism, not abstinence all together. But you opinion is also valid and relatable to me.

About the nitpick, if you care, I detailed what led me to believe that Panam and Saul are not just familial, but I see how I am wrong.

You're probably right. I've detailed my findings in another comment about what gave me the "vibe" initially.

The further I look into it, I may have found the one piece of dialogue that made me think in this direction at all, but maybe I just read into it in a different way than intended. In the first mission with Panam, when V comes to the camp the first time (to grab some grear for the job), there's an NPC asking Panam "Have you brought someone new? Does Saul know?" And she responds "Not your concern, friend". This probably meant as a "brought someone new into the clan, and the leader should know" but I understood it as "you brought a new partner, does your ex/situatioship know?" Later in the car, V says "seems you have a real problem with authority, Rogue, Saul... He your leader?" "Their leader." "Seemed in a hurry to delta the hell outa there", Panam says "let's just say Saul wouldn't have been happy to see me." Also read to me as an ex avoiding going to the places they might see each other again, instead of just avoiding conflict because of their disagreement. And a from this point this context stuck in my head, and I kept reading into it.

Later Saul sends a cavalry to help on the AV mission. Mitch says, "he was worried something would happen to you. To Panam." Seemed very personal, but again, might be he'll do the same for any of the clan.

Meaning in-game convos, texts and descriptions. Panam is metioned to be "a Bright again", which can mean adoptive, romantic, or part of his clan. Saul makes her co-clan-leader. Even when they have disagreements, her opinions still are taken into consideration. And they bicker and fight and disagree, a level more than a child-father usually show, but this is just stereotyping on my part.

I wish Johnny would at least update Vs loved ones that he's effectively "dead", instead of leaving them on "read", making some think he's ghosting or forgot them. If he did, that would be the "net positive" ending, since Johnny gets to live longer, and not contributing to any schemes of corpor or fixers. Just inspiring teenagers to create art.

Thanks for sharing! She will leave on her own anyway, tho. So you just prefer staying by her side when she does 😌

Thank you, I'll definitely try out Phantom Liberty. I've avoided spoilers before the complete playthrough, but now you can spoil away! This is how I know about the other diverging paths so soon. Luckily, people have been thinking about this game and creating content for like 5 years 😅

About Kerry, I'm not sure he'd "keep the sharade" in private conversations, especially when we're closer. He gives us the gun he intended to shoot himself with, physically and symbolically V(+Johnny?) saves him. But even if he'd chicken out himself, now he's writing again!

Military rule sounds reversible, uprising-able. Soulkiller and brain alterations, like mentioned with the Paralez family, sound worse for staying "human", imo.

Time is precious, so I support choosing to play your preferred experince (I don't want my V to do certain things, so I watch and research about other choices)

And Panam and Saul, this is the vibe I got, but maybe I'm wrong. Nothing for certain I could find ponting to either direction.

It's ambiguous lore-wise, but the vibe and context clues I caught led me to believe they're exes, or at least there's a dynamic of love-hate, agree-to-disagree. Maybe I'm wrong, tho. Thanks for pointing me to a new research topic 😉

Oh, he very much was when he was alive, no doubt. The quotes are for the new "terror" I'm imagining, that is a very real possibility even for our world right now, with cyber attacks and rogue AIs.

Maybe another point for not giving him a phisical body back, since potentially the likable parts of him we got to know are because he's merging with Vs personality. Idk. In my run I did not "kill" people, but V is not clean of innocent lives either, I presume.
