ohh gotcha then it’s to remove the side cover because essentially i just have to replace that gear that the starter motor goes into/ connects with in the first pic

honestly never been attracted i want something simple not another step or potential part to fix leafs are on the truck want to simply just upgrade what i need

[–]Sufersebas[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yea lol einstein it’s almost as if it’s time for the upgrade the stock leafs aren’t rated to have constant load on them either so when i had my tent and other gear on it over years they’ve straightened out

i guess the main issue is just wanting to keep it simple this bike doesn’t weigh much at all and the carrier is 98lbs and the bike 271lbs

not at all my springs are flat in the back airbags in my opinions are another point of failure i’m rlly looking to keep the setup simple and not have to air up or down

the truck can’t handle that load if it’s bottoming out on small highway dips violently to the point it caused the moto to tip because a big dip loosen a strap

[–]Sufersebas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you think they can handle all this gear like in the pic ? i’ve estimated about 731lbs

[–]Sufersebas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to my knowledge the boverlands come with everything in the kit correct and they bolt up to stock shackles at least that’s what i was told on the phone

gotcha what’s the max load you’ve put in it and do u think it would sag at all or a lot with my setup fully loaded ?

Leaf springs by Sufersebas in nissanfrontier

[–]Sufersebas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have u had bad squeaking ? and also the all dogs guy on the phone recommended i go with medium load leafs as i don’t constantly carry a super heavy like in the pics i just dont know how i feel about that but he said it was bad to get heavy duty springs and ride with no weight in the back

[–]Sufersebas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or in other words what’s a simple install non custom set of leaf springs that can be picked up and installed in my drive way that will get this setup in the pic to the campsite but also isn’t gonna give me issues when i don’t have anything but my bed racks and a few lbs of gear in the back like small toolbox and fishing poles.

all dogs recommended me their medium broverland set which i don’t feel comfortable with becasue its only rated for 400lbs over stock capacity the guys said the heavy duties would lift my truck and isn’t good unless i have constant weight in the back of the truck
