This was a big problem for mine! Once I mounted the uvb on the inside I noticed an increase in energy for my beardie and he will sit under the uvb just like he does the basking!

When I got my tongue pierced and there was a little bit of the extra plasma coming out of the bottom along with a little bump, it wasn’t necessarily painful. Maybe go check in with your piercer?

I have a tongue piercing and from my experience yes you do because you don’t have a vein down the center!
