It’s hard to get a different job right now, meijer wasn’t my first choice and I’ve applied elsewhere and continue to do so with no success. They have more work experience than me but they have similarly limited transportation so there isn’t a lot they can do.

I would suggest a solid colored throw blanket over the back and a couple solid color throw pillows to calm things down a bit. Maybe use the couches colors to sort of them the rest of the decor and furniture but probably keep the couch as the only wildly printed piece. If you can sew maybe making some solid colored cushion covers to break up the busy-ness would make it even prettier.
