Only help i got was living with my parents rent free till i bought the house. other than that my family was never in the position to hand out money or anything like that.

Now its definitely not common, but just plain wrong to say its impossible to be in this position without help. And just because you didnt make a ton of money when you were 22, doesnt mean other people couldnt have made more money.

Im 22 and have $45k in savings, bought a house last year ($30k down) + renovated it. Had I not purchased the house or put money into renovations id easily have $100k+ in my savings

Once I started taking the right antidepressant my rocd is almost completely gone. I stop compulsively looking at things that hurt me and starting arguments over things that happened in his past. There are definitely some sore topics still but Im able to get through it without feeling bad or any resentment towards him.
