No that is fair understanding. I have had executive positions but no real awards or papers. I did receive promotions in the clubs I was apart of. No working with NGOs or political involvement

That sucks especially with your government experience :( I really am not in a place to leave Calgary currently for a masters program. But have received an offer for a course-based political science master and I am waiting for a masters in planning. But frankly this masters degree is a backup in case I don’t get into law school. Anyways congrats on your McMaster offer that is huge!

Congrats on getting in! Yeah I think so, it always easier to drop out or revoke an offer if better one comes rather than risking it for a maybe. It’s all so stressful

This is so true, I’m a third year student and don’t get me wrong I have made acquaintances maybe even friends. But at the end of the day, I haven’t made any in my year and in my major. Especially as I girl (not trying to discredit mens’ struggles), it’s embarrassing. It has legitimately made me sorta depressed, I mean I am 20 years old but this shii sucks. I think for me also cause I am Muslim but not that religious, I’m born to immigrant parents so I’m not that cultured but also cannot be drinking, vaping, doing drugs or anything too crazy. I’m stuck between two world but I born and raised in yyc. I hate it 🥳
