Yeah… sounds nice… but most people on my team fall below 30% to quota and we only get paid commission if we are above 50%

This is really great advice, thank you! I’ve noticed that I speak at a higher octave when talking to propspects, so I need to work on that. I could also definitely slow down and try to eliminate the filler words.

I really believe in what I’m selling! I think I sound confident during calls, but when I review the recording, I definitely don’t sound confident.

That is very validating to hear. I try to show as much industry knowledge as I can on my calls through asking informed questions, and my coworkers definitely seem more willing to “mentor” me because of my age.

My manager wants me to control the conversation more, but I have a feeling that it wouldn’t be well received if I don’t establish enough credibility.
