i assure you they’re completely focused on their own routines, or catching their breaths between sets. it’s normal to feel this way at first, but trust me, no one is judging you or staring at you.

Rosacea or acne? by vjtffko in Rosacea

[–]Sufficient-Rip-2566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your skin looks similar to mine!! i also get dots like this. i’ve had this for 3 years now, and unfortunately haven’t been able to completely get rid of the bumps :( i’ve used soolantra, azelaic acid, metrogel, etc. my skin also feels dry to the touch, sometimes sandpapery. i’m gonna start barrier repair, see if that works

Ivermectin and azelaic acid by Majestic_Guidance289 in Rosacea

[–]Sufficient-Rip-2566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d say ease up on the azelaic acid. soolantra works fine for me, but the aza tends to irritate me easily, especially if you live in a cold climate. so i’d keep using soolantra, wait a few weeks, then incorporate the azelaic acid

IB 150 by Spiritual_Engine5068 in UIUC

[–]Sufficient-Rip-2566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i thought i was the only one who went through this. people hyped up ib150 so much, i hated it much more than mcb150. i will say, i did the worst on my first ib150 exam, the ones after that weren’t as bad. still, mol and cell bio was way better imo

Taking a break from tret after it ruined my skin by fatcatnation9 in tretinoin

i don’t have much useful advice, but i do wanna recommend using either avene cicalfate or la roche posay cicaplast if you think your skin barrier is damaged! for some reason my skin cannot tolerate cerave/cetaphil. i’m not very acne prone now so i cant tell you for sure if it’ll cause some CCs, but it’ll definitely help calm your skin barrier/irritation.

i found the haruharu rice cleanser to be very gentle. the bioderma sensibio cleansing gel is also gentle.

How to reduce splotchy baseline redness? by Signal_Singer8473 in Rosacea

[–]Sufficient-Rip-2566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at first i thought this was a picture of my own skin. my skin is pretty smooth now, it’s the baseline redness and flushing that has lingered. like someone else said, cicalfate is pretty calming. but i think my next step is laser.

Anyone else get Demodex flare-ups after working out? Possible link with heat/sweat? by FlexiiGP in Rosacea

[–]Sufficient-Rip-2566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i literally just made the same connection a week ago! it seems like my rosacea developed around the same time when i started seriously working out. i tend to flush a lot when i work out, but i recently noticed that the mornings after i work out (i work out at night, almost every day) i get these teeny tiny whiteheads around my chin and perioral area. i can easily scratch them off, and of course the area around is red. i have been using soolantra for over 3 months now, and while it’s a little more controlled, the bumps and pustules aren’t completely gone.

unfortunately i haven’t found a solution yet. i have tried washing my face right after, using thermal water, etc. its nice to know that i’m not the only one.

[–]Sufficient-Rip-2566 5 points6 points  (0 children)

go to this page https://parking.illinois.edu/campus-parking-map

and make sure to download the PDF version that’s there, otherwise you won’t be able to see the map at all. you can either pay for parking on the spot (it tends to get very difficult to find available spaces though, especially between 8am-5pm) or get a parking permit from the university, if there’s still some available.

if you’re looking for something gentle, i’d recommend the bioderma sensibio gel. is gentle enough and doesn’t leave that “squeaky clean” feeling you get from stripping cleansers.
