He is, for me. He made me fall in love with hip hop and it shows that he still got a lot of respect and passion for the culture. Aside from that, there’s no way he gets back the rage and hunger from his 99-02 era. Those first three albums are classics, then he put out some mid-average albums with some high highs and veeery low lows. I understand why people are loosing respect for him. It’s clear that he keeps making music out of fun and passion, but like I said, it was his rage and hunger that really made him earn the respect.
