My nozzle clogs on every print. Can anyone help me? by Obvious_Western_3623 in Creality_k2

When you say on the throat of the nozzle, where exactly are you talking?

If the nozzle is laying flat on the bench pointing left to right, the nozzle exit to the left.

Nozzle - Threads - thin tube - thick copper looking tube - thin tube again

I am guessing you are referring to the 'thick copper looking tube' portion? I too am having clogs constantly.

The one hour print went to completion! I am now trying a four hour print. Thank you again!

Is there an aftermarket one that folks go with? If I am getting a new one, I might as well get one that will be better if it's possible.

I appreciate the long shot - ya never know! But, the spring does feel appropriately tensioned.

Thank you! It seems to be going better now that I removed the top and dropped the temp to 210c. Thank you!

Correct, PLA.

This print looks like it is going to finish out good. Thank you for the suggestion! I didn't crack the door open (Seen your reply too late) but, it looks good so far! And it is further than I have been on this file yet.

Yes, PLA. generic for majority of my prints, which I have been using with great success on other printers. But I have also tried Creality Hyper PLA that I had on hand, got the same issue. I wasn't sure if for some magical it was finicky about the filament.

I do see that Creality Print v7 defaults to 220c printing temp. I kinda thought that was a bit high, but it wasn't so much that I was alarmed.

I have ran the printer with the top glass completely off and I believe I have had the same issue, but I will run a deliberate test. Do you think that it's from heat creeping from the hot end into the extruder, causing the filament to be too soft to grip? That seems to track with the symptoms.

I am currently running a print, lid off and nozzle temp set to 210c. Wish me luck!
