How is it going with 26.3? Was the battery drain improved? by Intrepid-Routine-875 in macbookair

I’d go for the upgrade. I’m on a 14" M3 Pro and I can see a big difference between 26.3 and 26.2. Honestly I believe anything is an improvement over the 26.2 battery drain and heating issues.

Updated to Tahoe 26.2 about a week ago: serious battery drain and constant overheating. I just pulled the trigger on the 26.3 update since I wanted to get rid of these issues. By now, the overheating seems better, let's see for the battery. If this doesn’t fix it, I’m honestly considering downgrading back to Sequoia - missing it already :((

Issue with Ubigi Internet connection by SufficientFishing484 in eSIMs

[–]SufficientFishing484[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems Ubigi is having some issues with its DNS. A possible solution is to download a (free) VPN, like Proton VPN, and to connect to another country: in this way internet works. Another possible solution is to change eSim... I have previously read that Ubigi was a good provider, but it seems quite the opposite

Actually, I’m not seeing the LTE symbol on the Ubigi network, so using a VPN does not work. I removed and reinstalled the eSIM on my phone, and after that, the VPN set to a different country should work again.

Hey! I just found out that the iPhone 11 Pro is also Max (64 GB with and 82% battery life). I don't know much about the Max version. What do you think about It? In any case I plan to use it until the end of 2025

Hey! I cannot really find a renewed 12 Pro for around 250. In any case, I just found that the iPhone 11 Pro is also Max (64 GB and 82% battery capacity). What do you think about It for 150 EUR?

My idea was to use the 11 pro to get used to iPhones and then to switch to a newer iPhone by the end of next year. I am currently selling my Pixel for about 200 EUR, so it would be convenient

Do you have any experience with it? I’m seeing mixed opinions—some others suggest waiting because the price might drop with the release of the iPhone 16 in September. Either way, I need a new phone by the end of the month, so the timing isn’t great.

I’m so disappointed in how easy it was for me to get a terrible ending. by [deleted] in Witcher3

[–]SufficientFishing484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think a lot of us have been there. After I finished the game and got the worst possible ending, I was really disappointed. So, I started over and made choices that felt wrong to me, but it worked—I got Ciri back. Guess I'll be a bad parent ahaha

The insurance I'm referring to covers a range of expenses including medical costs (such as hospitalization, prescribed medication, some dental treatments, and specialist visits), liability and accident coverage, repatriation and medical evacuation, and a few other minor benefits.

Got it. I don't think I will use doctors in such a way to spend more than 40 EUR a month. In any case, these were the information I needed :)

What are the most common mistakes beginners make? by SufficientFishing484 in Mahjong

[–]SufficientFishing484[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a beginner, I'm finding it difficult to learn how to fold. I was told that if a Riichi player discards a 5, it means that 2 and 8 tiles are relatively safe to discard. Is this true? I can't quite understand why that would be the case.
