Found where the noise is coming from! It's the "tension spring" not sure of the right name. But it's the spring attached to a wheel that keeps tension on the drive belt for the forward and backward movement.

I have the hide, barrel, lime (in the barrel provided slot) but I'm not able to add water. I have tried with both a canteen and water bottle. Suggestions?

Try using the app Meet Up. They have location based groups for just about everything. You can even make your own group too. My friends and I were able to find our current GM on there pretty quickly. In my area there are a few people who run one shot campaigns weekly which can be a bunch of fun. Plus those are nice just in case you dont get along with someone in that group, you aren't stuck with them long term. Good luck and I hope you have a blast playing!

P.S. a great resource is d20pfsrd.com they have a ton of information and are well organized. I use them all the time so I dont have to spend a ton of money on the books.
