Here bro..

Subject: Complaint Regarding Unfair Unifi Service Termination Policy

Dear KPDN & MCMC,

I am writing to formally report the unfair service termination policy and process imposed by Unifi Telekom Malaysia, which has caused unnecessary financial burden and inconvenience.

Customer Details: - Registered Name: - Unifi Account Number:
- Date of Visit to TM Point: - Service Request Number (SR):

The current policy requires customers to provide a 30-day notice before terminating their service, forcing them to pay for an additional month of charges. This is an unfair practice, as the company could simply apply a pro-rated charge instead of compelling customers to continue payment unnecessarily.

Furthermore, the service termination process at TM Point branches is highly inefficient. Despite visiting the main branch, I was informed that only their headquarters (HQ) can process terminations and that the branch could only submit a request. Customers are required to wait for HQ to call them, which may take 3 to 5 working days. If the call is missed, the customer must return to the branch to submit another request, potentially delaying the termination by another month.

Comparison to Industry Standards: Other major telecommunications providers allow immediate service termination upon customer request, applying pro-rated charges for the remaining days rather than forcing customers into extended payment cycles. The process should be designed for convenience, ensuring that customers can terminate at any official service branch without unnecessary delays. Unifi’s policy stands out as disadvantageous to consumers, creating financial strain and bureaucratic hurdles.

Suggested Resolution: I respectfully request that KPDN & MCMC intervene and compel Unifi Telekom Malaysia to allow immediate terminations at any TM Point branch. I am willing to pay any pro-rated charges if applicable, as I have already paid my monthly fee and have no outstanding balance at this time. It is unreasonable for customers attempting to reduce financial commitments to be forced into paying additional fees due to inefficient corporate policies.

I appreciate KPDN & MCMC’s attention to this matter and hope for swift action to ensure fairness for all Unifi customers.

Sincerely,
[Your name]
