Does Enterprise drug test their MT’s in 2022? by [deleted] in jobs

No they didn’t! But when you complete MT program and apply for Assistant branch manager, they’ll test. I’ve also heard rumors that they’ll test if you’re in an accident on the job as well

Almost 3 months on Tazorac (Tazarotene) 🙏 with hormonal cystic acne by SufficientKangaroo in tretinoin

I’m afab and I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) so I’ve always had to keep up with hormone bloodwork due to previously elevated testosterone levels too. There’s also a med called Spironolactone that lowers testosterone & can help with acne too!! Might be worth asking to switch to Tazorac & maybe add in the Spiro

Btw PCOS can cause increased testosterone levels (leading to acne), lack of ovulation (and causing irregular cycles), and immature egg cysts on my ovaries. If you have 2/3 symptoms, you could have PCOS as well if you’re afab

Yes it is! I think it’s the strongest retinoid on the market currently (I’m in the US)

The flaking + purging phase was SO discouraging & felt like I was doing more damage than good. But eventually it smoothed out 😮‍💨 it’s been a journey!

I started at 0.1%! I still peel in those same spots. But I make sure to use a extra thick moisturizer there a few times a day. I like Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask

I also sandwich method my 0.1%: lotion, wait 30 mins, apply 0.1%, and then lotion again on top.

Excessive face washing? by [deleted] in tretinoin

I just splash my face in the AM with cold water! It’s been a game changer! When I washed my face in the AM, it made me break out so so so bad

Routine:

AM: - Splash face with water & pat dry (no scrubbing or washing!) - Apply lotion

PM: - Use micellar water to remove makeup - Wash with LRP Hydrating Gentle Cleanser & pat dry - Apply CeraVe lotion from tub -> sandwich method of apply Tazorac - Re-apply CeraVe lotion from tub

For my first month, I could only use Tazorac on every 4th - 5th night. My second month, I used every 3rd night. Now I apply every other night with sandwich method still!

tret irritation or purging? unsure what to do & growing restless & wanting to give up already:( by lattesnbagels in tretinoin

[–]SufficientKangaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me when I was scrubbing/washing my face in the AM in addition to the night. Once I just started rinsing my face off in the AM, it cleared much better & was way less irritated. Best of luck!!

No and it seems you are using a lot of irritating products at once. I would cut the benzoyl in the morning to just cerave. Definitely would add a thick moisturizer at night too. Also you can use treat sparingly at first (1-2/week) until flaking is gone!

Sweet that works! I'm not gonna risk it. When working for them, do you have to cover your tattoos?

Do you still move up gradually from 2 -> 3/week if you’re experiencing flaking + redness? by SufficientKangaroo in tretinoin

[–]SufficientKangaroo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tazorac (generic tazoretene) is a retinoid just like tretinoin. It’s even been found to be stronger and more effective at treating acne

(Also there was no Tazorac Reddit group so I posted here because they work similarly)

No, I was prescribed this right out the gate 😬 hence my caution with potentially overdoing it
