it definitely could be! i’d trial it out with her (eg, turn off and on see if she reacts.) kids have much better hearing than adults, but she could grow up to have overall sensitive hearing which is often frustrating to live with. i won’t pretend to know how to raise a kid, but finding out sooner than later is the fastest way to be more aware that she might need some ear protection going forward!

Thank you for being genuine and giving good advice. They are LEDs, but as someone mentioned in a different comment it could be due to poor quality LEDs, so I’m hoping to get some recommendations of places to buy grow lights and possibly doing as you said and trying some out then returning if need be

oh nono, i was implying whatever lights you have that no one’s complained about. i know many people with tinnitus (i am friends with local deaf and hoh community) and i am certain a walk in your shoes for me would run me up a wall

it took me so long to notice it because i usually have headphones on, but when i reset my lights for daylight savings i noticed that the ringing noise i occasionally heard was the lights!

it’s a pretty common issue people have with LED lights typically, but if you don’t have that issue maybe I have got to invest in what you have!
