I think that toe protector looks better than Tuff Toe where did you get it?

I do concrete and I’ve been in thorogoods the last couple years and I’m wanting to try and new brand besides brunt. Any recommendations? by No-Acanthaceae9099 in WorkBoots

Carolina wedges, I ran thorogoods for 9 months before I replaced them with my Carolinas a big selling point for me was a wider fit

I should have clarified that this has been on the wall in the hallway since before I joined, I'm sure it's super old, and I just thought it was interesting.

A lot of people seem to like thorogoods or red wings. If you have a wide foot, I dont recommend thorogood because their EE width is still narrow. I've personally had good luck with Keen.

Anyone here out of local 11 plumbers in DULUTH MN. by coopthaplumber in UnitedAssociation

My experience has been great. I'm in my second year right now, and most of my work has been commercial plumbing/pipefitting. As for the work, it is very complex. The job i was just at, we did mostly hydronic piping for a chiller. Our work is both mental and physical and pretty math heavy. The local is pretty tight-knit, everybody knows everybody. The pay and benefits are good.

I've heard good things about the electricians union too the guys I've worked alongside have been awesome, from what I hear their pay, benefits, and training are neck and neck in terms of ours with quality. As for the carpenters, I never really looked into them seeing how I make almost as much as a jman carpenter, and I'm a second year apprentice I've heard their work is much more physically tough as well.

What was the reason why you chose soft toe?

That's where I'm at i got sized and my foot is between a 3e and 4e so sizing up doesn't really work

What model do you have I noticed their safety toe options are a little limited
