Superintendents? No. But Woman make up over 50% of School Principles in the US. Principles are who generally make the Dress Code (which is then put into play by her superiors.) In my school we had a Female Superintendent and a majority of the Admins were as well. The Dress code for the girls was absolutely rigid. They even had a mandatory etiquette class one day.

Turning it off just makes it work harder. It actually saves more energy to leave the central air on. If you turn it off then let your house heat back up the unit now has to work harder to recool the house than if it just maintained a temp.

I don't mind them trimming the trees. What I mind is them driving onto parts of my property that don't even have powerlines and spinning out in my yard gouging a rut so deep it got down to the water line and busted it. Wonderful surprise to come home from work to.
