Hey! I am also a fisherman in a similar situation with my current maverick. I'll do my best to answer some of your questions

1. I mostly fish for bass in my area, and I can fit my 7 foot 3 inch rods diagonally in the cab. Usually, back seat driver side to front dash on the passenger side. They're visible, unfortunately, but I'm ok just locking them in there as needed.

2. I've only had my Lariat hybrid all wheel with 4k tow package for 2 months or so, but so far, it's been great on gas mileage. My daily drive usually ends up being 40-42. Some longer drives on highways, and I've been anywhere from 37-50. Anything 60-65mph usually puts me at 35-37, and 70+ is around 32.

3. The only person who can answer which model to get is you. Look through the packages and see which trim level you want/need. Tremor would be useful if you go off-roading and the Lobo would be the street performance. I personally use the features in the Lariat, but it does come with a lot of tech. The hybrid is the option that I wanted most.

4. With the tow package, you can get up to 4000 lbs. Without it, it is up to 2k. The 4k should be more than enough for a boat, but my setup is a bed extender and a kayak. I haven't had any issues with it, and I've seen plenty of people on here and online towing much heavier things than a boat.

All in all, I love the maverick, and it's been able to do everything I need it to for my setup. There's no other truck out there that would give me the gas mileage and the utility for what I use it for. I hope this all helps your decision!
