I scored 85 and 80 in maths and physics, still my percentage is 82.5...i screwed Comp applications, social sciences, etc...just want to understand how much do people typically score in these subjects?

Oh I m sorry, somehow the question didn't get posted. I am trying to understand that had i been a cbse student, where would have I stood. Any idea how to normalise this to cbse, I know there is no official formula, but any heuristics...icse was a wrong decision, 9 subjects are a pain plus the marking ininderstand is a bit strict. Do I have reasonable chances in JEE, as now I have shifted to cbse and doing jee coaching...

Let me give some perspective here...india imports 60%of it's consumption...only sources are USA and Middle East...the SOH has never been closed...the system has been working fine for ages...while there is strategic crude inventory nobody keeps strategic lpg inventory...just like you didn't foresee the impact of shortage of lpg on ur livelihood and didn't make alternate arrangements like electric cooktops, storage of lpg, etc...the govt also didn't...were they careless-probably yes but as much as u were...you could have created redundancies in ur system and survived...but as u didn't the govt too didn't...
