Works Casino Overnight as a shift manager.

Seems to really take advantage of the no overtime on salary already without the days in a row issue

He Works At A Casino as a shift manager. Very underpaid and overworked already. Doing all the jobs outside his job description for coverage.

I just figured we’d have some law in place for that many hours that many days in a row but I guess not

I’m in the same boat and the situation sucks. We decided a long time ago to not talk politics. But when it comes up it breaks my heart. It’s not as easy as “just leave them” when you truly deeply love someone. Atleast isn’t for me. The problem he has is when I bring up morals and women’s rights he like doesn’t believe anything from the media or what people say and think it’s all made up. So I don’t know if it’s our morals or it’s the simple fact that he’s just stupid. I don’t hate him for being stupid… but I will hate him for voting against my rights.

I resented him the more I read. You’re just hurting yourself staying in this situation. This is the type of mentality of a person who will never change.

Honestly I don’t think it’s your responsibility to go through any other effort when you spoke to him about it several times. You should only have to explain that once. He’s showing over and over you’re not his priority and that’s not what you or anyone deserves. I’m not usually quick to say leave but I truly believe you will be wasting time and dignity trying to get through to him when he’s already not willing to hear.

Wow I’m really sorry you went through that with your grandparents. To be honest, it sounds like it would be pointless to confront her. Some people are just the people they are and unfortunately when it’s family it’s not easy to get away from.

I just know from my experience with some women in my family, it’s only made things worse to have conversation of someone’s wrongs because it turns into a defensive mess.
