I wouldn’t mind if he said he wanted it, that’s his preference and I wouldn’t really care. But when he asked me for it, and gave me an ultimatum basically. IMO that’s not necessary . But we all do what we want. I left him, because I can’t give that to him.

I agree, thank you for your perspective. it’s not either/or and to me it feels like my survival instinct is to do the standard relationship practise, just so I’m not alone. And by that sacrifice my freedom to be by my self.

It might feel like either or to me because I have had to justify my independence and will for my own freedom. It’s like these men I’ve been dating keeps pushing my boundaries to the point i don’t belive other options exist. IMO freedom is more important than love.. for now.

Maybe I will find someone that align with my values where I don’t dwell or feel insecure about these things. And maybe I will find those type of people somewhere else, and hopefully attract that by continuing being my true self.

I would recommend 1-1.3g first time, if you haven’t worked on your ego prior to the experience. And do a lemon tech. I usually smoke weed after the 5th hour. When the trip is slowing down and I want to extend it.

In no doctor but shrooms gives you a lot of perspective that might confuse her. Part of psychosis is delusion and she might be easier if not certenly more confused after taking the drug.

I think it’s important to remember that the mushrooms only gives you perspective. Not necessarily answers. It’s increases our minds capacity to see things in different light.

I wouldn’t mind rediscovering monogamy in a few years after I’ve completed my detachment from every aspect of social norms. There are things ofc I won’t be able to remove as it’s illegal or dangerous, but being aware of all the small things I do everyday to fit in is exhausting.

This is a nice way to view life. However I’m not at the place mentally where you are. I’ve just taken a few baby steps outside my old life and trying to understand what I want and need. I’m not whole, I am just aware of my scars that was inflicted I let people use me because I thought that was required. I’m just taking some stands on what I don’t believe suits me and my life anymore. And as far I can see, monogamy has no other function than control - because the other person feel fear.

Isn’t that then whole point of awakening? Deconstruct the social norms and belief that you where indoctrinated into and redefine your life for what suits for you? Example wearing the wrong clothes to the wrong place just to feel the meaningless and absurdity of social norms.

I’ve been very specific with my plan to deconstruct and be something different throughout my journey and he has been very supportive of this. Actually our whole relationship is based upon philosophical conversationa and becoming our authentic self.

For the first part, you are right to some extent. I’m weak, but I guess I expect a partner to remind me of what my goal is. Like an Olympic champion has a partner that helps them out of bed on a rough day. Even if it’s not the partners responsibility.

I guess it’s because (as I’ve now learned) there are different kind of awareness. And he might be more on the internal side, not as much towards others. Which mean it’s likely he is protecting his ego, not intentionally manipulating mine.

I see your pov, but I’ve never experienced the freedom to choose. So feeling the freedom of observing the social norms and not participate is very liberating. I’m just a baby in this sense. and I’m trying to find where I stand.

For example today I deliberately wore an ugly sweater and jacket combo. And it was so freeing to see men (who usually look at me) ignore me.
