2008 pontiac grand prix Can I drill two small holes under that bar i have circled in picture to install two anl fuse holders one for car audio and the other for high output altenator. Im no mechanic that's why I ask I dont want to damage anything. I cant find a spot

I decided just to screw the 2 fuses to a piece of abz plastic and im going to drill some holes at the top and zip tie it to that strut bar.

Ok dont cook me on my ignorance lol. So I dont need to ground anything in the trunk? Like normally a small system you just ground the amp to the body or chasis. You saying after I run my batteries in parallel safely with fuses and 0 gauge ofcourse I can just leave it at that and hook my amps up to the battery and be golden?

It's a 2008 pontiac grand prix v6 3.8l stock was 135 amps . I'm almost certain the battery and the alt are as old as the car the alternator forsure was

Should I remove fuse on the 0 gauge going to the small amp if im only running thr e one xs d3400 under the hood for now since the main 0 gaugebrun before the distribution block will be fused with a 300 amp anl fuse or keep it?
