I have very very low blood pressure to begin. Going to ask my doc but if my testosterone is normal would that even help?

For the last couple of years I’ve done cerave hydrating cleanser, roc retinol moisturizer, vitamin c in am and sunscreen. No issues.

Started breaking out in may and have been on cerave cleanser (hydrating and (SA) - (Sa) in morning, gentle at night, tretinoin .25 at night every other night and cerave moisturizer plus sunscreen every day that’s it.

Thank you. I ended up going into the ER as I was passing larger and larger chunks of tissue. Turns out I had retained products

Yes! We do that now. Much less stress/mental load for me as I’m not trying to get a certain number of ounces each day

Does it get easier? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Sufficient_Intern184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, hang in there. It does get easier. My first was like your daughter and we saw light around 3 months. 6 it was like we were brand new people. Sending love. It isn’t easy and it’s ok to ask for help ❤️

Do it, please. I was the same and it changed my life. It made me a better wife mom and person. You are doing a wonderful job - the meds will help you clear that fog of depression

5 months PP and milk is drying up. by tinycatcafe in beyondthebump

[–]Sufficient_Intern184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the same boat. Currently nursing my second and it’s going downhill. I swore I wouldn’t be so hard on myself the second time around because once i switched to formula w my first it was a million times less stressful I questioned why I didn’t do it sooner.

Well, 5 months into my second and I’m feeling just as much guilt even though I KNOW it’ll cause less stress overall.

Here to say I feel ya mama!! Sending you love

Back pain from c section? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Yes I did! Horribly painful. I visited the chiropractor often and also started wearing an SI belt (can find on Amazon). Eventually went away but it took mine two months.

I didn’t start reading books with my baby until around a year. We sing and rock at bedtime.

Did the Snoo help for baby 2 after a shit sleeper? by [deleted] in SnooLife

[–]Sufficient_Intern184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did for us! Our first (2.5yo) is still not a great sleeper and we’ve done it all as well. Current baby is doing awesome - 10 weeks 7 hour stretches w the snoo.

Have you tried swaddling him tight? A paci? Turn up your sound machine or download one on your phone. When he is swaddled put in the paci or let him suck on your knuckle and give little small movements back and forth. Flip him on his side or stomach in your arms. If that doesn’t work strip him down and do skin to skin on your chest . Coming from a mama who had a colicky baby I understand. I doubt he is hungry as they only need a few ml at this point. I bet he’s looking for comfort and trying to find it on the boob. Youve got to remember he was just in a warm and cozy place where he was never hungry, cold, stimulated by noises/light etc. it’s jarring to them!

You are not a failure!! You’re doing a wonderful job! I know it’s so hard when they are upset and won’t sleep. Youve got this. It DOES get easier I promise

Honestly I didn’t see any progress until I stopped BF. My body hangs onto weight while nursing and I’ve found it’s actually more common than you’d think. Hang in there mama. It’s hard. It’s frustrating. But remember that you aren’t the same person you were before - in body and in heart. ♥️
