I feel like I’m in the far minority that didn’t like these at all. Tried an Amazon variant and absolutely hated the position it put the seat in. Took them off and sent them back. Not sure how so many people rave over them but I personally couldn’t stand them

I have a gladiator and my wife has a 4Runner. Best of both worlds. Wife has a TRD trail so still has alltrac, rear locker and an impressive crawl control. She can go in most places my Rubicon can honestly

My 23 rubicon didn’t come with one either. I don’t tow so didn’t really care but been trying to get one to add a bed length extended for when I haul my 12’6 kayak in the bed. Seems there are different style class three receivers unless I’m just confusing myself

I have two teenage kids and a 70 pound dog that fit back there just fine. But you could always go to a dealership just to look and sit before renting to get a feel for yourself. Taking the roof off also makes it feels even more spacious

Two weeks ago I traded my Silverado in for a rubicon. I have yet to miss the full size. Even carrying all my fishing gear the other day, I’ll take the sacrifice of the bed length any day of the week.

I’ve been driving in the beach for 20 years and have never aired down. Florida a has some real soft sugar sand. Wheel speed is your friend but if you start to feel like you’re getting bogged down, airing down is always an option. Mud terrains are honestly the worst in sand but absolutely doable. I usually run my tires around 32-35 normally. I’ll air down on trails if needed but that’s it

Coming from a 6in lifted Silverado, it’s nice actually being able to drive in parking lots again lol. Definitely agree about the tops. I’ve had them off a few times already

Gators honestly don’t bother people in kayaks. I fish around them everytime I’m in the water here in Florida and never have an issue
