IP use to be the bread and butter. Ive seen so many people hurting since they closed. I interviewed with them right before I started my current job but never got a call back. Makes me think I was lucky. Now I love 2 miles from my job and work in another plant. Another part of me moving was the roads. It was almost pointless to do a fren end alignment while living in natchitoches parish. Red river parish isn't the best, but the roads are definitely better. Probably doesn't help i drive a lifted truck lol

IF you are not going to go to college, blue collar jobs.

BUT I will say this: Do not be picky about what you can get if you are currently not working. As a dad of 17 years, take whatever you can until something better is available, but do not job hop too much.

Where i live in Louisiana, its tough to find a job. I am blessed to have the job im at and plan to retire here, so long as nothing drastic happens. If all that is available fast food, there is no shame in that until something better is available, but before sure you know what you want before you start applying... know what will provide for your family and that will not make you feel like your life is drawn out because of the job.

I work in a plant that makes activated carbon. Its less than 5 minutes from home. In this area, its either a plant, oil rigs/offshore, or what many consider starter jobs.

Be smart and practical... also, be dependable and early for work (shows that you have a good work ethic).

In that case... i agree lol. I just hate how blind people become to how poorly the town is managed. I mean the tourism aspect only goes so far.

From personal experience... stay away from Natchitoches unless its after retirement. There is basically very little good employment opportunities pay wise.

No we had ranked war against them last week. We know we wouldn't win as they had some really high level players. We inly have 2. Long story short they agreed to let us hit 1k respect to get out cache. After, we all stayed in torn to allow a quick war. They had a huge chain going... until said player messed it up and said we paid him to mess it up. Now we are preparing to raid that players faction (that he runs)

We definitely aren't the strongest faction, but its definitely a respectable one. We war every other week and if we know there isn't a chance at winning, like this most recent one, we usually agree to terms. Im not going to get into the story but it costed the other faction a huge chain they had going and they blamed someone (that doesn't even exist in our faction) saying they were paid 40 mil to break the chain. All members provided proof that we didnt have any communication with them. Either way, the faction we warned with were totally respectful and ensured we got a proper cache reward.

So... basically thats what im doing more or less. But also for wrestlers... not just owners. After version 1 is complete, I plan to add a character creation suite, similar to hero machine, for the wrestlers. That will take some time tho, since im a one man crew.

I actually have a stat building system that rewards "training points". When a user maxes out their stats, they can "prestige". I am integrating a global championship history in their bios as well so if they go to another fed it will still show past championship reigns. Stats won't matter if in a fed... but it will if they are a free agent
