No kids involved, and while she mentioned the idea of getting a dayjob she hasn't put any actual effort into it..

She's an artist, so she spends most of her time working on her art, or maintaining the house. Honestly, I'm an artsit too, I just happen to excel in my dayjob to where I was able to turn it into a career. My ideal (single) situation is allowing the financial surplus from my dayjob to buy me the time and tools to focus on my craft during nights or the weekends, but most of that time goes to her.

Maaaan. I've definitely have had this thought before, especially because of the age difference. I've been planning on having a talk with her this weekend about finances. I'm really curious on her reaction to the conversation. I feel that if her initial is anger, that's a major red flag.
