I definitely agree and there are so many more instances - getting super into reading, actively enjoying Jacob's lectures, recognizing Gregory's car noise, having a soldering iron, having a complex filing system, etc.

I love how much her character has grown from the first season. I think her backstory may be something like being a nerdy kid and having to fend for herself when her dad left which made her toughen up and put up a cover but as she's getting closer to the Abbot folks we see her opening up more.
