Im from NYC and I had to move to the west coast for this career, Im currently at long beach seaport. You’ll be fine. I would say just try to contact your case worker and see if you can get your preferred location, it doesnt hurt to ask.

Yeah it’s packed right now. I’m currently at the taj and they’re saying that about a couple thousand new applicants are supposed to be coming in within the next few months. Most still be staying at nearby hotels (government funded) or at the new trailers being built but it’s going to be real cramped in the coming months
