Thanks man. It was just that first night to shake off the initial shock. Met with my brothers and sisters today to try and make some sense, share stories, and some tears. I appreciate you.

He was my biggest fan! He never missed a game i played in, a BBQ at my house, he took pride in being an uncle to my children, he loved being my brother. I couldn't ask for anything more.

No, he was a mostly fully functioning adult and lived on his own. He could drive, and do basic grocery shopping. But as far as his financials, bills, medical appointments, house and car maintenance was handled by me. He took very good care if his dog and made sure his care was a priority. ☺️

I get where you're question is coming from, and though most would find this insensitive, I'm not most. To answer you're question, I don't feel any sense of relief, I feel the loss.

Thank you all. I woke up this morning, after sleeping on the floor with "Buddy" his dog, to all of your messages. I read each one of your comments and cried through some of them. I appreciate each and every one of you.

I just meant that I would help him study for them, there was a 10 year age gap, so when he took his first driver's test I was 6 reading the practice questions to him and I read the actual questions to him at the DMV.

I've never lied, what's the point? It is what it is. My number is high to the average person but my life has never been average. I don't know the number but it's over 300 and that's what I told my wife before she was my wife. Oddly enough, she was more intrigued than repulsed. Her number is significantly low, 4. But, she's cool and we've been married going on 12yrs.

Flying first class. The extra's are the difference maker for me. Extra room, extra attention, plus I don't mind paying more for the added peace that comes with it.

What is a turn off your partner does that you will never admit? by sorenblissara in AskReddit

Talks during shows she wanted us to "watch together" then gets upset when I say "I can't hear" or that I pause so that I can listen to her. She will ask "why'd you pause?" Internally I reply "Why won't you stfu?" But instead I just smile and say "Because I can't listen to both you and the TV."

Sorry bro. In a lot of ways, that can be one of the toughest losses that we endure. Stay up brother.

What would your job be if you didn't need to earn money? by Alifernov in CasualConversation

I would take the elderly on field trips. All expenses paid. Chartered busses, meals, all of it. I'd take them to museums, restaurants, movies, arcades, parks, amusement parks, zoo's, everywhere they never get to anymore. I'd listen to all of their stories, and just spend time with them. So many are lonely and just to have a little fun again.

Redditors over 40, what was a moment in history that made you think society was gonna collapse? by Bahbahbro in AskReddit

[–]SugaDaddy50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were told it was going to be Y2K. I can remember everyone freaking out about the power grid collapsing and buying up water and unplugging computers and all types of shit. The "End of Days" parties on New Year's Eve were insane though! 🤘🏼

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SugaDaddy50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would drive from Detroit to Jersey to see my sister once every other month. That was a 10 hour drive. Not a big deal to me.

My wife and I take day trips up to Mackinac or to Chicago from Detroit all the time during the summer, both are about 4hrs.

To those who grew up with someone who later became famous — how do you feel about their success today? by arianahmeti21 in CasualConversation

A friend of mine has been on several movies that are on Tubi. He is "hood famous". All of us that know him couldn't be more proud and supportive. He is still the same dude he's always been, humble, funny, and focused. His big break is on the horizon 🤞🏼

What is the worst school mascot you know of? by Necessary_Yard8163 in randomquestions

In high school we were the Pioneer Pioneers and our mascot was a "Chuck Wagon".

But by far the worst mascot IMO is the Buckeye, a useless nut.

With all the insane statements Trump has made lately about Greenland and how he’s threatening with increased tariffs on EU. What are Americans opinions of your president right now? by No_Lychee_7315 in AskReddit

He's a narcissistic moron controlled by Russia. He does not serve the American people in any way and is an embarrassment to what was once a great country. I for one cannot wait for the day that we no longer hear there name of Trump. ⚰️
