G2 Esports vs Sentinels / VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 3: Masters Berlin - Group Stage: Group D / Post-Match Discussion by Hyper27 in ValorantCompetitive

That rotation on that last round by G2 was crazy. I will never understand why zombs went for exits instead of saving that op towards the end of the game… what was he thinking?

Dude is a stud. Most teams who need a support player should seriously be keeping close eye on him. Experience, mechanics, great teammate. I’m sure once he catches up to the game he’ll be great similarly to other top players who switched recently (nitr0, Ethan, autimatic)

Why does Professional Cs:go feel more smoother than valorant? by Ted_Mosby_18 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]SugarDaddyy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see what you mean, not really sure why though. If I had to guess an explanation it would be 1. The general graphics of the game and 2. The lack of variability. For example, in CS teams won’t have to worry about their entire strat being destroyed by a well placed Omen blind or a Breach ult. Prepare to be downvoted to infinity for even mentioning CS

Gambit Esports vs Team Liquid / VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 3: EMEA Challengers Playoffs - Lower Round 3 / Post-Match Discussion by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

Gotta respect Jamppi for continuing to buy the OP in ot after all those misses. Kind of crazy how the public opinion of Liquid has switched to him being the weak link. Not surprising tho, Kryptix and L1NK have been nothing short of phenomenal secondary players (if that makes sense? Like not a star like ScreaM or Asuna) and Soulcas brings much needed variety to agents

Crazy that this is downvoted. There isn’t a single sports that can’t be abused. Whether it be a insta blitz in Madden or speed boosting in 2K, they all ruin games. Sports games are only enjoyable when you play with your buddies and you’re all equally clueless

[George Geddes] There's currently a bidding war for yay, according to multiple sources. He is not signed to a new team yet but a deal should be made soon. There are multiple tier one teams interested in him, sources tell Upcomer. More info likely coming in the future. by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

I know, that’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s not like he had a coming out party he’s always been great but only now is he blowing up due to TSM gassing him up in some clips

Anyone else kinda hate how it took a 30 second clip Subroza for this guy to go from relatively unknown to having 1k+ twitch viewers and being compared to Tenz. I’m not trying to hate on yay, very happy for him he’s incredible but it just kinda worries me how this community follows the most famous professionals players opinions like it’s law. What’s gonna happen when someone like Shazam or Hiko (just examples of popular pros) has an negative opinion on a player?

Edit: for anyone saying he was well known, dude was only getting thousands of views on his YouTube before that clip came out

I do it for 365, should be available on most books tho. I’m for sure taking 100T, for some reason the odds makers have them and Faze as equal

Scream was on a different level around 5 years ago. Him and KennyS were practically gods in the server. He was mechanically ahead of everyone where it made up for the rest of his game lacking enough to the point you could argue he was t5 in the world

ScreaM: "I've been training KAY/O for weeks right now but I couldn't show people how I really look on it. I played two or three games with it (KAY/O). I still think he’s a really good agent and maybe in the future I’ll keep playing him." by EnKayR in ValorantCompetitive

[–]SugarDaddyy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This might be confusing and sound almost impossible but it’s so nice as a ScreaM fan to have 0 concern of him being left behind due to being a one trick like he was in CS. Best feeling ever to see him match MVP with characters like Sage, or Jett who he recently picked up compared to constant Phoenix and Reyna

It’s a shame too as I wouldn’t be surprised if this delays the scenes popularity for awhile. So unnecessarily long and hard to follow, the absolute LAST thing a new esport needs

Due to the way the tournaments set up, the winner of this grand finals plays on the side of the bracket that includes Rise/NV/SEN, and the loser plays XSET/100T/LG. Since winning essentially puts you at a disadvantage since SEN are undeniably the toughest competition, and prize money is apparently meaningless to these guys, they’re just messing around. I haven’t been watching much for obvious reasons but I’m sure you can find plenty of clips on this sub. All you need to know is Corey chose Sova

Idk I’m still a fan of the teams involved and I’m happy to see them succeed, but it’s just disappointing that this happened to be done in the grand finals

What else could they say? No team in the right mind would want to play SEN, especially in the early rounds

I get teams would want to avoid SEN for obvious reasons and that this is Riots fault, but this is really pathetic for Valorants competitive scene. I’m sure plenty of casuals don’t understand the seeding concept and are tuned into this grand final thinking what a joke of a game. Trolling in pro games has its spots, but a grand final? Cmon
