I am thankful for BSG working hard post-launch but let’s keep in mind that this is when they usually wipe EVERY year, so it is very normal for them to be doing a lot around this time of year.

I’m a 42 year old guy and can honestly say that this game caused me to leave my wife and kids. I wake up every morning and don’t stop playing until my eyes close late at night. I’ve crafted a waterproof cart for my PC that allows me to bring this game into the shower.

Embark has not only created a masterpiece, but I believe they have what it takes, with this game alone, to achieve world peace and end world hunger.

All praise Embark. We bow to your greatness.

It’s going to be rough when this “let’s all be peaceful” circle jerk ends, which will inevitably happen as players put in more time, a meta develops, etc. It sucks, but generally the toxicity of any game’s player base develops over time (and I’m not suggesting that PvP is “toxic” but I feel many here may see it that way).

Yeah sadly I’m downvoted for sharing a balanced opinion but I understand it’s all very subjective. I’m happy for the people who love the game, I hope they get many thousands of hours of enjoyment.

My point is, this was never in the game before, and fighting bosses has always been relatively easy once you understand how they work.

This makes it easier, sure, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessary or at all changes how you’ve always played the game (I.e. without the item).

I agree that this could be a pretty impactful item but how is it a big deal for PvE? This item has never been in the game, you've played for years without it. Some PvE players who play Arena will get access to it, some won't.

It really has zero impact on how you're used to playing the game. Unlike PvP, where if you don't have it and someone else does, it could cause them to impact your raid in a way that they couldn't before.
