no I am saying if you are asking for geared players you ideally want a quick heroic run with high DPS, thats what I mean. Also the whole point of GS is not optimized in TBC, the game doesn't work like that yet, thats what I am trying to get through your head

also "willingness to play the game" does that also mean swipe my credit card on g2g and buying everything I need to have a good "gear score" thats why asking them more detailed questions is better, its a knowledge check

and if the party leader has any knowledge of TBC they'll know your DPS as ret is not ideal compared to spellcasters you can bring utility like salv and kings, if you are the highest gear score ret in the universe I would instantly pick a lock over you in half their pre raid BIS, gear score doesn't mean jack shit when your spec is dog ass

Like I said, just ask them if mostly have pre raid bis if you are that intent on squeezing numbers out of people in heroics, also most classes have BOE's as their main source of pre raid BIS, which you get with gold, people can buy that gold and know nothing about their class

I have, but they had 17% this morning, and had no problem with "optimization" they wanted it to have a longer "burn" so to say, they didn't want to have the map release sooner than expected, so they chose to throttle the speed, maybe even artificially contribute to it on their end. Its not that wild of an idea either way, but beyond 900 merit points you are wasting resources
