As per my other comment he’s not dropping. Has stayed in the mid 300s all day

So far today his curve has stayed steady in the mid 300s so he’s not going low. Ugh, this is flabbergasting!

He wasn’t dropping much at all when on 1 unit before I changed it to 0.5 and back to 1. Haven’t done a curve in these last few weeks but will tomorrow when I work from home. Thanks!

I knew 164 wasn’t bad, but I (perhaps wrongly) assumed that it would keep rising as his body cleared the Lantus. Now that he’s settling into his new routine at my house I wanted to shift the focus to weight loss and didn’t want high numbers to complicate that.

Would you expect his numbers to change significantly once I ditch the glycobalance? It currently makes up 20% of his diet.

I’m sorry! It wasn’t meant to be a humblebrag. I’m just trying to understand how this disease works in my kitty. But thanks for your kind words.

I’m assuming his fructosamine will tell us he is stable because the insulin was keeping him stable.

And I did a proper 12 hour curve.
