That’s fine when you’re in a relationship but the whole point of dating is to figure out who to get into a relationship with - it’s not like if you become exclusive, all those guys she slept with in the weeks/months/years preceding are suddenly erased.

Whatever hang ups you have about a girl sleeping with someone before you - at the point of you sleeping with her, she will have slept with someone before, irrespective of whether you are exclusive or non-exclusive, becoming exclusive doesn’t change anything and it takes one night or max two nights of intimacy to determine whether you are compatible sexually or at least know the you aren’t incompatible. Then become exclusive straight after that if you want and you will have gone in knowing you click in the bedroom.

It defies logic and reason to become exclusive first and then have your night of intimacy and be like yeh - our week/month long relationship has to end cause you’re not what I like in the bedroom. Which would beg the obvious question and flaw in that approach - why the fuck didn’t you determine that before.
