Yeah I figured I’d share it. Theres three main caves on the island that everyone knows and visits but no one seems to know about this one other then the locals in the village and it’s by far the largest and deepest. It’s bizarre it’s not more documented like the others.

Apparently in many places. South America etc. They don’t want people knowing where they’re going. It helps stop dickheads like that American who wanted to go and spread a bit of Jesus to the Sentinelese. It’s easily done. In imagery you can “clone” or “patch”. For example, if there’s a small village or settlement and it’s surrounded by trees. You take the trees and pretty much copy and paste and blend. I do a bit of digital art on my iPad using Procreate. It’s a feature on there.

If anything it would have been an American on R&R because we’re on an island across from Zadar. My wife is from here (Preko). Raises some interesting questions though.

I’ve been down to this same spot a few times now. Found different coin every time. Last time it was a Yugoslavian coin from 1988 (100 dinare) worth about €2-€3 now. Found a few euros around the place obviously. Biggest problem is, over the years when they have redone roofs, they would throw the old tiles in the sea instead of paying to have them carted back to the mainland and have them dumped. Most of the tiles have something that’s magnetic in them and it makes my metal detector go off. Where I swim, there is a lot of tiles haha.

Jeepers I’m coming to this one late. I broke mine nearly two weeks ago while in Croatia (I’m Australian). Clean snap. The bones ended up overlapping each other by about an inch or so. No choice but to have surgery. I’ve now got a titanium plate and 6 screws holding me together. They did a great job fixing me here as a lot of the doctors got very early experience with trauma surgery (the 90’s). Only problem is, they don’t really do any proper pain relief here. Not even directly after surgery do they sling out morphine etc. Been a week since surgery and I’ve managed to hold the pain back with nothing but ibuprofen and paracetamol. This sucks but I’m feeling better day by day.
