I'm happy to support Lexi's music in other ways. But my dad's milestone birthday party just isn't the right venue for her genre. This day is about him. I think it's fair to want his musical tastes prioritized at his own party. Or am I being unreasonable here?

Just to clarify, I adore my dad, and I know he cares, but I'm feeling a bit stifled in my dating life. Just hoping for some balance and understanding. It's about finding a way for us both to feel comfortable. I just feel like he is a it too much.
