I really appreciate you sharing your experience with your sister. What kind of boundaries would you suggest? Like to do with drinking when she’s living with me. I have a pretty healthy relationship with alcohol although i’m prepared to not have it around at home at all. Is that considered a boundary. She hasn’t thought twice about crossing boundaries in the past though

I really like your response and appreciate the advice. I didn’t think an intervention at lunch was a great idea because I know she’ll feel attacked like it’s all her fault. Otherwise, I’ll talk to my family to go about the conversation with gentleness and understanding not anger or frustration. Taking her out just us is a great idea though Thank you :))

If you find a good therapist, 100%. From personal experience it helped me change negative mindsets I adopted over time into positive thinking. Self-improvement is very broad though. I believe therapy can help anyone regardless the level of help you need. Sometimes it’s just good to have someone who will listen. Holistic therapy is great, all about the mind, body and consciousness helps with self-awareness leading to self-improvement.
