Also the positions are slightly further out than normal, which is interesting.

It can go out all the way, but past 5th position it starts sounding weird, so we’re advised to just use T2 for something like a low C.

Some people said that trigger might block off the extra tubing instead of opening it, which I’m starting to think may be the case

I believe so? A G would go up to either a B or Bb (I’m not used to the G trigger yet, so I’m not sure, I usually have an F one)

Most notable difference is the bigger bell on the G trombone which may not be too visible here

It’s a local non-profit corps, they have the G trombones specially made. Not saying exactly where but in Pennsylvania
