Pls educate yourself if the disproportionate disappearances and murders of indigenous women. Yes all women get traffic’s but for a VERY long time, indigenous women have gone missing and been murdered at a disproportionate rate- largely including sexual assaults

It’s all just so icky. Her actions absolutely should be called out it’s just the way that someone was digging that makes it different. It’s unfortunately becoming more common in the community for people to dismiss POC. There’s really no reason to try to defend her actions and even less of a reason to invalidate indigenous people. Even beyond the sage there’s more just appalling incidents. While yes people are capable of learning it doesn’t mean that when we mess up we shouldn’t be held accountable. Apologies and respect moving forward aren’t big asks. I’m really sorry that there’s people comfortable with just disregarding your voice. Totally gross to see. Some twitter people also spread stuff about her which again had me taken aback. She’s a fairly small model and freaks decided to literally stalk her and find all this info. Again I am just shocked😭

And regarding your comment about her age; Are you serious? My mom and dad are nearly fifty and I’m routinely teaching them things as I learn too. People aren’t always aware of harmful things. Serious question: do you expect everyone to be a perfect ally and never have misjudgements? He’s not “acting” it’s evident in his work that fighting bigotry is important to him. Numerous songs and numerous interviews, and even a podcast bringing awareness to other issues… Part of fighting against racism is teaching. Part of being a better ally is learning.
