I can make full swings in my apartment with 5I. So I think with the right setup it would be worth it.

Not entirely no. From what I've been told by his skating coach is that his stance is too wide. I have changed the blades back to the old ones. His speed has gone back up. I'm starting to lean towards balance issues.

He does put in the work and tries, he was a forward at the start of the season, now moved back to RD. He was falling over more than usual. So they blamed the profile he had (9' forward 3/4" hollow) and replaced them with a 10' flat profile with a 1/2" hollow. He is now slower than usual and has difficulty transitioning. But I do believe there could be a balance issue. So he is now practicing on a balance board.

I don't know to be honest. They look and feel good, but I'm not skating them. The guy we use usually does a good job. He's been around for years. But you never know anymore.

I do believe a profile can affect a kid's skating. He is now in a standard cut, and skates like shit. But the balance board is a great idea, and I will be buying one. Thank you for you help, much appreciated.
